Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate, cross-functional automation and system initiatives within HubSpot’s Solutions Partner program.

• Detect inefficiencies and underlying issues within partner operations workflows.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions effectively.

• Create and sustain integrations, automations, and data pipelines utilizing Workato and HubSpot CRM.

• Develop prototypes for AI-enhanced workflows and automation agents, refining them based on actual usage data.

• Define the scope of work by identifying problems, measuring impact, suggesting appropriately scaled solutions, and determining when to create prototypes.

• Collaborate with Partner Operations, Partner Product, Engineering, Finance, and Analytics stakeholders.

• Provide constructive feedback on requests that do not warrant the investment.

• Engage across various partner program domains.

• Contribute to the establishment of technical standards and share insights throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in building and deploying production systems in a role such as business systems analyst, automation engineer, internal tools engineer, or another technical operations position.

• Proficient technical knowledge in SQL, REST APIs, Python, and JSON.

• Practical experience with iPaaS tools like Workato, Zapier, Boomi, or similar platforms.

• Proven experience in creating and managing multi-step automations and integrations across complex systems.

• Familiarity with version control, incremental rollouts, and basic testing methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering an AI-assisted feature or automation utilized by actual users, or a solid production background along with a genuine interest in applying AI to operational workflows.

• Capability to navigate ambiguous environments and redefine problems prior to development.

• Experience collaborating with various stakeholder groups that have different priorities and incentives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A sense of ownership that goes beyond mere delivery and encompasses ongoing system accountability.
