Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of CACI’s Financial Management Business Transformation Interfaces, Data Conversion, and Cleanse Team, providing support to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

• Contribute to the modernization of federal financial management systems by transitioning from outdated systems to a contemporary COTS product.

• Detect potential data discrepancies within legacy system data.

• Document and report potential data issues and trends to assist in identifying root causes and formulating corrective actions.

• Create, conduct unit tests, and document code modifications as specified in Agility tickets.

• Update Agility tickets to reflect work progress and any obstacles encountered.

• Adhere to established development standards.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, which include stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, and retrospectives.

• Check Alteryx workflows and Microsoft Power BI templates into GitHub.

• Conduct code reviews for pull requests and refresh the local code repository from GitHub.

• Monthly refresh Functional Requirements Models reports and the Data Cleanse Scorecard by executing Alteryx workflows, updating Power BI reports, and publishing outcomes to SharePoint applications.

• Present discoveries, recommendations, and solutions to analysts, management, client stakeholders, and product owners.

• Communicate dependencies and risks related to project timelines and estimates.

• Maintain communication with clients and management throughout the project and development lifecycle.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers.

• Assist in the implementation and prioritization of requirements.

• Ensure timely delivery by overseeing monthly refreshes of the FRM and Data Cleanse Scorecard.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education such as Associates/Vocational/Technical education, or relevant work experience.

• 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, ERP implementation, or federal financial systems.

• Proficient in Agile methodologies.

• Strong skills in using Alteryx and SQL for data analysis.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a development team throughout the entire development lifecycle and contribute to requirements gathering sessions.

• Must be able to successfully pass a Public Trust background investigation.

• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively to resolve issues.

• Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while adhering to deadlines.

• Experience with the Momentum Financials database is preferred.

• Familiarity with requirement management tools such as Jira, Agility, VersionOne, and Confluence is advantageous.
