This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Offer support as a Scrum Master, Requirements Analyst, and backup Project Lead for the FFSS Fee Basis Claims Archive and E-Learning applications.
• Assist with upcoming iFAMS integrations and EHRM rollouts within the VA ecosystem.
• Enhance and refine business processes, policies, roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
• Execute current-state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, identification of best practices, and organizational assessments.
• Strategize and implement future-state designs, change management initiatives, and transition plans.
• Collaborate with customers, IT services, client services, business teams, and technology teams.
• Supervise the development and upkeep of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures.
• Interpret policies, regulations, governmental guidelines, and agency standards to ensure compliance.
• Provide ongoing process-analysis oversight to operating entities.
• Determine system requirements and conduct interviews with clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
• Carry out cost-benefit analyses as necessary.
• Offer technical solutions to complex challenges and represent the organization on project-related technical matters.
• Contribute to specific programs and projects while working autonomously under general direction.
• A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience; alternatively, an additional eight years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• A degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical field is mandatory.
• Must be a US citizen with the capacity to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies is essential.
• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects effectively.
• Experience in business, functional, and technical domains, including research activities.
• Proven experience in proposing innovative solutions within areas of functional expertise.
• Skilled in eliciting and documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Capable of creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with business modeling techniques and tools such as UML and BPMN.
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent documentation tools.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies is preferred.
• Experienced with project management and tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of database concepts with basic querying skills.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical information into business terminology.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings.
• Capable of identifying issues, suggesting solutions, and making informed decisions.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior analysts and team members.
• Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to comprehend customer needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
