ERP Supply Chain Business Analyst, JD Edwards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the analysis, design, implementation, and support of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Supply Chain modules.

• Enhance supply chain operations, boost efficiencies, and ensure ERP systems are aligned with business objectives.

• Facilitate system improvements, troubleshoot challenges, and offer functional support for supply chain processes.

• Collaborate with external support and delivery teams to deploy solutions that optimize manufacturing operations.

• Provide support for Sales Order Management, Procurement, Advanced Warehousing, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Transportation Management, EDI, and related JD Edwards modules.

• Partner with the Business Relationship Manager and technology teams to convert business requirements into JD Edwards Supply Chain solutions.

• Ensure JD Edwards Supply Chain and Distribution modules comply with medical device standards, including FDA regulations.

• Assist with validation documentation, traceability, electronic records/signatures, audit preparedness, and change control procedures.

• Engage in cloning JD Edwards applications and processes for Vantive’s JDE instances.

• Work in collaboration with Technology, Finance, Manufacturing, Commercial, HR, and other cross-functional teams.

• Interpret stakeholder needs into functional specifications and system solutions.

• Manage and resolve issues associated with JD Edwards applications alongside third-party support and delivery teams.

• Configure and provide support for JD Edwards Supply Chain modules.

• Resolve integration errors with WMS and other supply chain systems.

• Deliver end-user training, documentation, and continuous support.

• Lead JD Edwards EnterpriseOne upgrade projects, encompassing requirements definition, impact assessments, functional validation, and user training.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing cloned applications to develop efficient, scalable, and adaptable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with JD Edwards ERP, particularly in Sales Order Management, Procurement, Advanced Warehousing, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Transportation Management, EDI, and Inventory Management modules.

• In-depth understanding of supply chain processes and best practices, with practical experience in system configuration and support.

• Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot JD Edwards systems and integrations.

• Experience with JD Edwards 9.2 or later versions is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, allowing effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with third-party support and delivery teams to drive solutions and ensure timely project completion.

• Project management experience is advantageous, particularly in leading ERP implementations or upgrades.

• Familiarity with cloning and managing applications is a plus, especially for enhancing operational efficiency.

• Ability to work across multiple geographies in a multicultural environment.

• Capability and maturity to manage senior-level stakeholders globally.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., privacy/compliance) is beneficial.

• Awareness of design thinking and prior experience using it is strongly preferred.
