Senior Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, unit test, and document code modifications as outlined in Agility tickets.

• Update Agility tickets with the status of work and any encountered impediments.

• Comply with team and VA FMBT development standards.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

• Check in Alteryx workflows and Microsoft Power BI templates to GitHub.

• Conduct code reviews of pull requests and synchronize the local code repository with GitHub.

• Carry out monthly updates of Functional Requirements Models reports and the Data Cleanse Scorecard.

• Execute Alteryx workflows, update Power BI reports, and publish outcomes to SharePoint applications.

• Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to analysts, management, client stakeholders, and product owners.

• Communicate project dependencies and risks associated with estimates and timelines.

• Maintain communication with clients and management throughout the project and development lifecycle.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to developers.

• Guide the implementation and prioritization of requirements.

• Supervise monthly refreshes of FRM and Data Cleanse Scorecard to ensure timely delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.

• A Bachelor's Degree or an Associates/Vocational/Technical education, or equivalent professional experience.

• 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, ERP implementation, or federal financial systems.

• Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies.

• Extensive experience with Alteryx and SQL for data analysis.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

• Proven capability to lead a development team throughout the entire development lifecycle and contribute to requirements gathering as necessary.

• Must be able to pass a Public Trust background investigation.

• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team to address challenges.

• Capacity to manage multiple shifting priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with the Momentum Financials database is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Experience with requirement management tools such as Jira, Agility, VersionOne, and Confluence is preferred.
