Senior Business Product Owner

📋 Description

• Define and implement the product strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and establish success metrics for rebate management solutions.

• Collaborate with Commercial Finance leaders to pinpoint business requirements, opportunities, and product investments.

• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and prioritization among agile pods, business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors.

• Manage and update the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business value, customer needs, regulatory obligations, technical dependencies, and strategic goals.

• Convert business objectives into value-driven outcomes, prioritized features, and actionable backlog tasks.

• Drive decisions and trade-offs that enhance business value while managing risks and dependencies.

• Convey product direction, roadmap priorities, delivery results, and significant risks to leadership.

• Assist in the modernization of rebate systems and planning for future capabilities across the portfolio.

• Advocate for customer feedback and stakeholder involvement throughout the product delivery process.

• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impacts across various initiatives and operating units.

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog priorities, and business outcomes for customer financial incentive solutions.

• Partner with Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, Information Technology, and external vendors to synchronize stakeholder needs, technological capabilities, and enterprise strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Product Owner.

• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the employment period.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Familiarity with product strategy development, roadmap planning, and business transformation initiatives.

• Direct experience in supporting rebate management, chargebacks, pricing, revenue management, or commercial finance processes.

• Exposure to Vistex, rebate management platforms, or solutions in commercial revenue management.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Order-to-Cash processes, order entry transactions, or ERP systems.

• Demonstrated leadership in enterprise-scale business and technology initiatives.

• Ability to prioritize competing business needs, risks, and dependencies effectively.

• Proven success in collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

• Strong communication skills for articulating recommendations, trade-offs, and priorities to leadership.

• Experience in supporting contract lifecycle management, sales operations, or financial technology products.

• Capability to influence decisions across executive, business, and technology stakeholder groups.

• Knowledge of the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated sectors.

• Exposure to enterprise system implementations, platform modernization, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
