Senior Business Process Analyst, National Center for Clinical Trials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess existing workflows, operational processes, and challenges within NCCT and research functions.

• Lead process discovery workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews.

• Create future-state process models utilizing technology, automation, data, and AI.

• Document business processes following industry-standard methodologies and tools.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, quality, and user experience.

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, non-functional, and operational requirements.

• Formulate user stories, business rules, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Establish a Definition of Done and define success criteria.

• Develop workflow diagrams, decision trees, and operating models.

• Specify business rules, exception handling, and process dependencies.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and technical teams on technology-driven solutions.

• Define business data requirements, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and integration needs.

• Assist in reporting, measurement, and process performance frameworks.

• Guide engineering and delivery teams throughout the implementation process.

• Aid in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing.

• Verify delivered solutions against requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Maintain traceability from business objectives to implemented solutions.

• Support change management, training materials, and rollout documentation.

• Report to the Vice President and Head of Technology & Transformation, collaborating with Product Management, Operations, Research, Informatics, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operational transformation, or similar fields.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing and redesigning complex business processes and workflows.

• Experience in gathering and documenting functional and operational requirements.

• Strong understanding of process modeling methodologies, workflow documentation, and business analysis techniques.

• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Familiarity with supporting agile, iterative, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to convert strategic objectives into detailed requirements and actionable work.

• Exceptional written communication skills and experience in producing executive-ready documentation.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
