Junior SAP Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist J8 in rectifying invalid balances and transactions within Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) to achieve a supportable trial balance.

• Examine existing EBS data to pinpoint invalid transactions and discrepancies.

• Evaluate data quality in accordance with the Department of Defense's standards and requirements.

• Aid in the formulation and execution of data cleansing processes to address anomalies, correct invalid transactions, and standardize data.

• Verify data for precision and integrity using various methods.

• Provide support to the team as required.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of pertinent experience, particularly within the federal sector.

• Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of learning new tools as necessary.

• Must possess an active SECRET clearance.

• Familiarity with or knowledge of purchase orders, sales orders, fund reservations, purchase requisitions, and standalone FI AP/AR/disbursement/collection documents.

• Knowledge of or experience with order to cash and procure to pay processes.

• Ability to comprehend the relationships among key SAP purchases, sales, inventory, and financial tables.

• Experience in supporting and collaborating with DoD stakeholders, senior leadership, and DoD/Army Financial Management personnel.
