Senior Business Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with small project teams to identify and resolve intricate business challenges.

• Facilitate consultative sessions for gathering requirements with internal operational stakeholders.

• Define analytical support needs and offer solutions that promote data-driven decision-making and revenue enhancement.

• Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, prescriptive/diagnostic insight generation, and data storytelling within the Retrospective Claims Auditing business.

• Lead initiatives for process optimization to reduce reporting/production time and maximize the efficiency of organizational resources.

• Develop automated business tools, templates, and KPI reporting products for operations and yield departments.

• Conduct evaluations of ROI and opportunity costs for reallocating resources, making capital investments, and exploring new business opportunities.

• Support management in the transformational implementation of new business practices and operational accountability.

• Create and lead monthly/quarterly business reviews to benchmark departmental financial performance, assess costs, and measure productivity and business health.

• Generate solutions and insights for competitive intelligence across various functions.

• Design, present, and maintain basic client/internal reporting as necessary.

• Fulfill annual Performance Plan responsibilities and undertake assigned special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Accounting) or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of combined experience in management consulting, investment banking, business strategy, operational excellence/process improvement, and/or Finance.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in data storytelling, predictive/prescriptive analysis, managing large datasets, spreadsheet applications, and database querying (e.g., SQL).

• Previous experience in leading business optimization, ROI analysis, and financial modeling initiatives.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access).

• Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power Pivot, and DataMeer.

• SQL and database management experience preferred.

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously.

• Knowledge and experience with Lean concepts and principles applicable across respective value streams preferred.

• Experience in the healthcare and/or software industries is a plus.

• Must have high-speed internet access/connectivity and the ability to set up and maintain an office space.
