This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain insights into operational processes and convert them into technical specifications.
• Engage in projects focused on process automation and data analytics utilizing contemporary BI and data platforms.
• Retrieve, cleanse, and integrate data from both internal and external sources.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Databricks, employing SQL, PySpark, and notebooks/jobs.
• Leverage AI coding assistants like Claude Code to enhance the development, testing, and documentation of BI tools and automation processes.
• Collaborate with DT and Data Science teams to broaden and maintain solutions.
• Design straightforward, actionable visualizations that prompt users to take action.
• Oversee project deliverables and timelines through well-defined plans and status updates.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members as required.
• A bachelor's degree in STEM, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in business operations, data analytics, BI development, or process automation.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with a modern data/BI platform, such as Databricks or Power BI.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with business or functional teams to establish requirements or enhance processes.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role or serving as a technical lead on a project or workstream.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Copilot, or comparable technologies.
• Proficient in Python for data transformation and automation tasks.
• Experience applying FLIGHT DECK principles to promote standard work and continuous improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to convert technical information into business-friendly insights.
• A focused, quick learner who effectively prioritizes tasks and delivers results punctually.
