Senior Business Intelligence Consultant – TIBCO Spotfire Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Gather and analyze the functional and analytical needs of users.

• Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions using TIBCO Spotfire.

• Create advanced visualizations focused on analysis and decision-making.

• Design executive, operational, and analytical dashboards.

• Implement drill-down, drill-through, and guided navigation functionalities.

• Connect Spotfire with databases, data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, web services, and external files.

• Prepare, transform, and enrich data for analytical exploitation.

• Develop advanced features using IronPython, JavaScript, and Spotfire APIs.

• Optimize the performance of dashboards and loading processes.

• Conduct functional, technical, performance, and data quality testing.

• Apply corporate standards for data security and governance.

• Collaborate with business users and technical teams on Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Visualization projects.

• Design, develop, evolve, and maintain scalable and efficient analytical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics.

• 2–3 years of experience developing solutions with Spotfire in production environments.

• Official Spotfire Certified Professional (TCP) certification is mandatory.

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Proficient in Spotfire Analyst, Spotfire Web Player, Spotfire Data Canvas, Spotfire Information Links, Spotfire Information Designer, and Spotfire Automation Services.

• Experience in Data Wrangling, REST APIs, web services, integration of multiple data sources, and handling large volumes of information.

• Development experience with IronPython, Python, R, and TERR.

• Knowledge of OVER expressions, analytical optimization, and corporate security applied to BI.

• Experience in migrations from other BI platforms to Spotfire is a plus.

• Advanced development with IronPython is preferred.

• Integration experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, or equivalent platforms is desirable.

• Background in energy, industry, healthcare, banking, insurance, or public administration is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is appreciated.
