This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and integrate customizable dashboards, self-service reporting features, and predictive analytics within the CMM application.
• Create user-friendly, interactive dashboards and visualizations that convey business insights.
• Coordinate and implement data replication or feeds for downstream stakeholders and external systems.
• Monitor system performance to ensure that at least 95% of analytical queries meet the monthly SLA response times and that dashboards load in five seconds or less.
• Promote user adoption of dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and UX designers to incorporate analytics into the CMM user experience.
• Translate business requirements and KPIs into technical designs and actionable insights.
• Build and enhance dashboards and reports using approved BI tools.
• Implement and validate SQL logic, calculations, and metric definitions.
• Work with Data Engineering to resolve upstream data issues and curate reporting data.
• Apply visualization standards and maintain documentation.
• Ensure that reporting artifacts comply with privacy, access-control, and data-handling requirements.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Enhance BI platforms through performance tuning, automation, metadata management, predictive analytics, and self-service BI.
• Support architecture design documents, governance artifacts, data lineage, and metadata catalog processes.
• Support and utilize AI/ML solutions in accordance with government standards.
• Maintain a master AI/ML Capability Register that tracks proposed, in-review, approved, and rejected capabilities, including status, submission dates, and authorization history.
• Implement responsible AI/ML practices focusing on transparency, risk mitigation, fairness, and compliance.
• Support the CMM Program's modern cloud-based solutions for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and over 204 federal courts.
• MA/MS degree with 5+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience, or a BS/BA degree with 7+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience.
• Experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data transformations that support large-scale analytical data systems.
• Strong practical experience with BI tools such as Qlik, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with analytical data models and semantic layers.
• Experience delivering reporting in regulated or high-sensitivity data environments.
• Experience aiding in testing, writing acceptance criteria, and confirming test case results.
• Experience in producing current requirements, sizing user stories, and removing roadblocks prior to sprint starts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with high-level customer stakeholders and establish strong customer relationships.
• Experience in identifying and applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check to secure a Public Trust position.
• Must be a U.S. Person: Green Card Holder, U.S. Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or U.S. Citizen.
• Preferred certifications include Data Visualization and Data Storytelling, Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Qlik Sense Data Architect, Qlik Cloud Analytics Certified Business Analyst, Storytelling with Data, CDMP, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, and AWS Certified Data Engineer.
