Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Generate regular operational, data quality, and business intelligence reports.

• Create SQL-based analytical outputs to aid in business decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and refine reporting deliverables.

• Assist with customer and partner reporting regarding network usage, availability, and consumption metrics.

• Engage in reporting overview and communication sessions with internal stakeholders.

• Diagnose reporting issues and facilitate ongoing report maintenance.

• Discover opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency, automation, and scalability.

• Clearly convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Aid in reporting, analytics, and data quality initiatives across fiber network operations and infrastructure management.

• Provide transparency into fiber network data quality, inventory accuracy, asset records, construction activity, and operational trends.

• Assist with reporting concerning network inventory completeness, asset record accuracy, data governance, route utilization, network readiness, and partner or customer connectivity agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in Power BI report development and dashboard maintenance.

• Strong skills in SQL and Excel.

• At least five to eight (5-8) years of experience in operational reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capability to work with complex datasets and recurring reporting deliverables.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecommunications, network operations, infrastructure, utilities, asset-based industries, or a comparable operational environment is preferred.
