This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Discover and cultivate potential clients through strategic account analysis, market insights, networking, and focused outreach.
• Conduct research on target companies, industries, key decision-makers, business challenges, and market dynamics.
• Interact with prospective clients to comprehend their business requirements and uncover opportunities.
• Assess leads based on business alignment, authority in decision-making, potential for opportunity, and readiness for sales involvement.
• Collaborate with Client Partners, Sales Executives, and commercial leaders to devise prospecting and outreach strategies.
• Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within targeted organizations.
• Facilitate introductions and meetings between qualified prospects and sales leadership.
• Keep updated records of prospects, accounts, activities, and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Track lead development and pipeline activities.
• Analyze data related to lead generation and business development.
• Create reports, dashboards, and insights to inform planning and leadership decisions.
• Stay informed about industry, market, and competitor developments.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on campaigns, account-based initiatives, events, and lead-generation efforts.
• Enhance lead development processes, qualification criteria, reporting, and standard operating procedures.
• Share market insights and feedback from prospects with internal teams.
• Engage in business intelligence, pipeline, and sales strategy discussions.
• Manage various priorities and business development projects.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales development, account management, sales operations, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in researching and developing target accounts while identifying key business decision-makers.
• Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship management.
• Ability to convert market and account research into effective business development strategies.
• Strong communication abilities with prospective clients, sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in utilizing data and business intelligence to identify trends, assess performance, and guide decision-making.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, with a strong preference for Salesforce.
• Capable of maintaining accurate pipeline, prospect, and activity records while ensuring CRM data integrity.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Skill in collaborating with Client Partners, Sales Executives, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
• Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving business development objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
