This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Drive growth within the U.S. Federal Healthcare Sector, with an emphasis on HHS, utilizing expertise in NIH and/or FDA.
• Manage and utilize resources effectively to create, identify, develop, and qualify new opportunities.
• Meet growth objectives by securing new business, winning contract recompetes, and fostering organic program expansion.
• Establish and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline that aligns with corporate strategy and goals.
• Act as the main liaison with the customer community, cultivating both internal and external relationships.
• Formulate and implement strategies to influence requirements and acquisition approaches.
• Identify and pursue new business markets, adjacent sectors, and partnership opportunities.
• Employ the Peraton Business Acquisition Process and relay opportunities and strategies to management and technical teams.
• Assist potential customers by showcasing technology solutions, architectures, capabilities, and acquisition pathways for early-stage opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and program management teams on RFIs, market surveys, white papers, presentations, briefings, and major event demonstrations.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience, or 16 years of experience along with a HS diploma/equivalent.
• Experience in account management within HHS and a track record of year-over-year growth.
• Proven ability to build relationships with strategic teaming partners, both prime and sub.
• Capability to develop and enhance key relationships within customer organizations.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a focus on enterprise objectives.
• Clear understanding of customer needs to align Peraton’s offerings and core values effectively.
• Demonstrated success in structuring key partnerships and alliances, as well as establishing and nurturing new relationships.
• High energy, integrity, strong business acumen, professionalism, and dedication.
• Highly effective communication skills with all levels of the organization and with customers, including senior executives.
• Proven experience with the rules, regulations, and nuances guiding the capture process.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary agency clearance.
• Must reside in the DC, MD, VA area.
• Desired: A successful track record of supporting and winning contracts with NIH and/or FDA clients.
