Senior Business Analyst, Consumer and Merchant Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Execute weekly and monthly sales reports, dashboards, and analyses, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.

• Enhance and automate recurring deliverables, allowing the team to focus more on interpreting reports rather than just producing them.

• Construct and refine sales forecasting, which includes pipeline, capacity, and target-setting analysis in collaboration with sales leadership.

• Identify opportunities for sales efficiency related to representative productivity, merchant prioritization, onboarding and activation, and funnel conversion.

• Collaborate with Sales and Data teams to enhance the quality and organization of foundational sales data.

• Work alongside product teams during new feature launches by defining success metrics, designing testing and measurement plans, and providing clear summaries.

• Assist in long-term company planning by conducting analyses that inform roadmap priorities and launch sequences.

• Create and maintain data queries and BI assets that facilitate self-service analytics.

• Present insights to leadership in a clear and persuasive manner, influencing both strategy and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.).

• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related role.

• Experience in Sales Analytics is preferred.

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.

• Experience in creating BI dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.

• Capability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
