IT Business Analyst 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Utilize business and technology expertise to create integrated solutions addressing both technical and business challenges.

• Act as a bridge between internal clients and functional IT teams during the initial phases of development.

• Establish system and functional specifications for technical projects by applying business analysis principles and recognized methodologies.

• Analyze and formulate integrated solutions for custom development projects of small to medium size.

• Support senior Business Analysts in gathering requirements and conducting research for larger, more complex initiatives.

• Aid in the analysis and design of business processes, defining requirements, collecting information, and documentation.

• Facilitate customer sessions to clarify detailed business requirements and outline the boundaries of the solution scope.

• Document prioritized functional requirements for testing plans, use cases, and conceptual designs of the system.

• Convert requirements and use cases into formats understandable by designers.

• Evaluate test conditions and anticipated results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.

• Develop both technical and business knowledge to connect the two domains effectively.

• Engage in quality management reviews.

• Carry out associated responsibilities and contribute to special projects as assigned.

• A bachelor's degree in a field related to functional work.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Effective time management skills.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to quickly learn specialized software as necessary.

• Ability to address moderately complex issues by analyzing variables and implementing suitable solutions.

• Skill in identifying anomalies and critical situations, responding appropriately.

• Proficient in communicating and collaborating with internal/external clients and colleagues at the necessary detail level to resolve moderately complex issues.
