This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Analyze business challenges and opportunities for enhancement, providing strategic or tactical recommendations.
• Conduct modeling and analytics to support new product and pricing strategies for lending offerings.
• Aid direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives and strategic objectives for retail-channel products.
• Generate targeted insights for new customer experiences, innovative technology, and market entry strategies.
• Enhance credit performance by linking future consumer credit trends with historical behaviors.
• Develop risk models and validate hypotheses through thorough monitoring and analysis.
• Frame issues, formulate and evaluate hypotheses, analyze findings, craft solutions, assess operational viability, oversee implementation, and create monitoring plans.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One team members to enhance quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Formulate and test strategies that tackle significant company challenges and positively affect the bottom line.
• Currently holds, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field/MBA with a quantitative focus, with the necessary degree acquired by the scheduled start date.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in performing analysis.
• Ability to make strategic and analytical decisions and solve problems based on data analysis.
• Strong quantitative focus.
• Excellent business judgment, leadership qualities, and integrity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in strategic influencing, interpersonal relations, and negotiation.
• Results-driven with the capacity to perform in uncertain and dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving setting.
• Previous consulting experience is advantageous.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative discipline.
• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience in statistical model development.
• Preferred: More than 1 year of experience in market research.
• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience with SQL querying.
• Preferred: More than 2 years of experience in business analysis.
• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience in consulting.
