Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the elicitation of user requirements and convert insights into epics, features, user stories, and well-defined roadmaps.

• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to articulate problem statements, validate assumptions, and outline future-state processes.

• Create business analyst artifacts including process maps using BPMN or UML, service design outputs, as-is/to-be analyses, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage and refine backlogs, ensuring that requirements are prioritized, comprehended, and prepared for delivery.

• Foster robust stakeholder relationships while ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout project lifecycles.

• Implement Agile or Waterfall methodologies as necessary.

• Deliver projects in accordance with established timelines, quality standards, and financial expectations.

• Engage in high-complexity, business-critical projects that influence client operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current SC clearance or the ability to obtain it.

• Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within large or complex environments.

• Strong expertise in requirements engineering, including elicitation, crafting user stories using INVEST principles, and defining acceptance criteria.

• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for managing requirements.

• Proven ability to produce process models, conduct data analysis, evaluate options, and create structured documentation.

• Good knowledge of IT systems and software development methodologies.

• Experience in government or public-sector settings.

• Familiarity with business analysis toolsets such as wireframing or prototyping tools.

• Experience using collaborative platforms like Miro or virtual workshop tools.
