Integration Business Analyst – REST APIs, Microservices

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the integration layer for a microservices-oriented Point of Sale platform designed for vehicle leasing.

• Define microservices and REST API endpoints, detailing request and response attributes, validation rules, data mappings, and error handling.

• Manage around 12 microservices that connect with the contract management system.

• Create and document comprehensive end-to-end integration workflows.

• Conduct testing on endpoints and validate vendor deliveries to ensure alignment with agreed specifications.

• Coordinate dependencies among business, testing, frontend, and development teams, as well as four external vendors.

• Assist with deployments and compliance-driven remediation, utilizing AWS Inspector and CloudGuard.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, or IT Analyst with a significant focus on APIs.

• Practical experience in specifying REST APIs and microservices.

• Proficient in API testing and troubleshooting, including handling requests, responses, status codes, and integration defects.

• Familiarity with Postman and Swagger / OpenAPI.

• Experience with the complete agile delivery cycle, from user story creation and refinement to acceptance and production deployment.

• Ability to work confidently with multiple teams and external vendors.

• Proficiency in professional English.

• Preferred: experience in leasing, automotive finance, or financial services.

• Preferred: knowledge of cloud-based solutions, CI/CD, and observability tools such as Datadog, GitHub, and Concourse.
