Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to comprehend and document business processes, needs, and objectives related to field service operations.

• Analyze and convert business requirements into functional specifications for enterprise solutions.

• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas where existing systems do not meet client needs.

• Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

• Assist in configuring and customizing tools to address specific client needs.

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions fulfill requirements and adhere to quality standards.

• Act as the liaison between clients, project managers, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and secure stakeholder buy-in.

• Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to enhance client business processes through FSM solutions.

• Suggest best practices and innovative solutions to boost field service operations and efficiency.

• Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on data analysis and client feedback.

• Write user stories and test cases; execute tests and manage defects.

• Guide users through both individual and collaborative UAT sessions.

• Navigate discussions when bugs arise or business needs are deprioritized.

• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for clients.

• Provide post-implementation support to clients to address issues and optimize solution usage.

• Travel for client meetings, workshops, and onsite work as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on Enterprise Field Service Management and mobile workforce solutions.

• Over 8 years of experience in implementing projects for enterprise systems (ERPs, CRMs, FSM, etc.).

• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution implementation.

• Practical experience with SQL to access, retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint, process design tools (Visio, Signavio, etc.), and similar PMO tools.

• Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and field service management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Familiarity with business integration requirements across ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, and data warehouse technology stacks.

• Willingness to travel to client sites domestically and/or internationally as required by project needs.

• Experience in the utilities, energy, or telecommunications sectors.

• Hands-on experience in writing detailed user stories, test cases, and executing tests.

• Experience in logging, tracking, prioritizing, and validating defects.

• Experience guiding users through UAT sessions.

• Client-facing consulting experience is preferred.

• Proficiency with FSM software platforms is an advantage.

• Familiarity with GIS integration and mobile workforce management solutions.

• Knowledge of IoT, AI, and Machine Learning as applied to Field Service Management.

• Professional certifications such as CBAP or PMP are preferred.

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States is required.
