This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Collect and document business requirements.
• Assist with Finance and Accounting transformation projects.
• Oversee testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
• Aid in project tracking, sprint management, and delivery operations.
• Create and manage Azure DevOps PBIs, Spikes, and work items.
• Translate ServiceNow requests into actionable requirements.
• Monitor backlog health, aging items, and work distribution.
• Maintain thorough and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage change requests and implementation processes.
• Ensure adherence to governance, approval, audit, and control standards.
• Assist with change advisory and governance meetings.
• Facilitate user access requests and JHA Client Portal submissions.
• Create and maintain operational and management reports.
• Track work item status, backlog aging, and workload trends.
• Support JHA reporting, dashboard updates, and data analysis tasks.
• Develop and sustain SOPs, business and functional requirements, process maps, test cases, training materials, and other project documentation.
• Create documentation for current-state and future-state processes related to business transformation and system implementation projects.
• Lead BPM activities, including value stream mapping, process analysis, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Formulate test strategies, scenarios, and cases for system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and UAT.
• Develop and provide end-user training documentation, job aids, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Manage SharePoint sites, knowledge repositories, and project documentation libraries.
• Aid in audit, compliance, and governance processes by keeping complete, accurate, and traceable documentation artifacts.
• Coordinate access requests, environment management, and system support tasks.
• Support ongoing operational and release-related activities.
• Assist with production support and issue resolution.
• Act as a liaison between Accounting & Finance stakeholders, technology teams, and operational partners.
• Support initiatives related to Jack Henry SilverLake, LoanIQ integrations, Loan Data Mart reporting, finance systems, reconciliations, reporting, and production support.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting financial systems, banking operations, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong background with Jack Henry (JHA) platforms, particularly in Accounting & Finance processes, general ledger, deposits, loans, interfaces, reconciliations, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Proven expertise in facilitating Agile delivery, including requirements gathering, process analysis, sprint planning, backlog management, and creating user stories and Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and reporting and analytics tools for managing requirements, defects, enhancements, and production support tasks.
• Working knowledge of Accounting & Finance processes, including loan and deposit operations, reconciliations, financial reporting, controls, and data integrity standards.
• Experience in supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, conversions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in banking and financial services settings.
• Familiarity with SDLC, change management, SOX-compliant controls, audit standards, and governance-driven development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational abilities, with a knack for translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effective collaboration across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and vendor teams.
• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening, including screening for marijuana.
