Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conduct business analysis to aid project managers and business leaders in establishing project scope and objectives.

• Organize meetings with subject matter experts to prioritize tasks and workflows.

• Record meeting notes and document discussions.

• Evaluate and assess current business requirements and processes.

• Formulate business requirements based on customer interviews and workshops.

• Redesign business processes to align with new business needs.

• Gather information, functional specifications, and design criteria from key stakeholders.

• Document design principles, processes, models, and standards that address business goals and requirements.

• Engage in enterprise strategy sessions, strategic evaluations, and design assessments.

• Produce and refine technical documentation, including user guides, UAT guides, CSOM, Concept of Operations, Business Case, and Alternatives Analysis deliverables.

• Implement industry best practices for the client.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Science, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an enterprise setting is required.

• Candidates lacking a degree may be considered with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient technical writing skills are essential.

• Capability to develop detailed specifications for complex IT system upgrades and business process enhancements.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Office 365), SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile (SAFe).

• Experience in documenting business requirements, including business requirement specifications, workflow diagrams, context diagrams, use cases, and user stories.

• Knowledge of user interfaces and common GUI design principles.

• Experience collaborating with business sponsors, product owners, government project managers, development teams, and end users.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must fulfill criteria to maintain a position of public trust.
