This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver operational assistance to brokers and team members within the Professional & Executive Liability division.
• Create and manage insurance documentation, correspondence, and account records.
• Aid in quoting processes and the presentation of quote materials to brokers.
• Gather and process loss runs, policy documents, and underwriting data.
• Assist with surplus lines filings and associated documentation requirements.
• Research and resolve accounting and policy servicing discrepancies.
• Maintain precise client and policy information within internal systems.
• Address inquiries from brokers and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that documentation is well-organized, complete, and adheres to company and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to process enhancements and ad hoc operational projects.
• Work collaboratively with team members to manage workflows and deliver outstanding service.
• Experience in insurance industry operations, brokerage, underwriting support, or related fields, OR extensive customer service, administrative, operations, or coordination experience in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Capability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Preferred: experience with an insurance carrier, brokerage, agency, MGA, or wholesale brokerage.
• Preferred: knowledge of insurance terminology and processes, including binders, quotes, policies, endorsements, and renewals.
• Preferred: experience in supporting commercial insurance operations.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
• Preferred: understanding of surplus lines procedures and documentation processes.
• Preferred: experience in managing policy servicing, documentation management, or insurance account support tasks.
