Senior Braze Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the lifecycle map and develop it in Canvas Flow, encompassing onboarding, activation, top-up reminders, re-engagement, win-back strategies, and churn retention.

• Manage native mobile channels including push notifications, in-app messages, and content cards, utilizing SMS when cost-effective.

• Establish frequency policies that include caps, quiet hours, and control groups.

• Compose Liquid and create custom in-app messages using HTML/CSS for legacy Android and new iPhone devices.

• Oversee deep linking and leverage Connected Content to fetch real-time balances, prices, and offers at the time of sending.

• Deploy every campaign in both Spanish and English to maintain a consistent standard, rather than relying on translation.

• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing.

• Report conversions and revenue within specified time frames, rather than focusing solely on open rates.

• Uphold naming conventions in the workspace, ensure segment hygiene, and maintain documentation.

• Facilitate seamless transitions between Braze messaging and YOlanda, the AI concierge.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing high-volume mobile engagement campaigns directly in Braze.

• Familiarity with iOS/Android push permissions, provisional push, deep link schemas, APNs, and FCM.

• Proficient in writing Liquid without reference materials.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for creating custom in-app messages.

• Ability to analyze Braze reporting, establish a meaningful conversion window, and track a cohort over time.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with writing skills of equal caliber in both languages.

• Demonstrated care for prepaid users and their engagement.

• Preferred: Braze Certified Marketing Specialist or Strategy Expert.

• Preferred: Experience with SQL, Currents, or data warehousing.

• Preferred: Experience in CDP work (Segment, mParticle).

• Preferred: Knowledge of Attribution tools (Branch, AppsFlyer).

• Preferred: Background in telecoms, prepaid services, or fintech.
