This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Proactively identify, assess, and present licensing and co-branding prospects within entertainment intellectual properties, cultural icons, celebrities, and lifestyle brands.
• Oversee a dynamic pipeline of 5–10 active opportunities that align with brand and commercial objectives.
• Facilitate end-to-end negotiations and finalize Letters of Intent (LOIs), licensing agreements, talent contracts, commercial terms, royalties, and usage rights.
• Act as a representative with partners, agents, and intellectual property holders.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of limited editions, from concept and LOI through product development, packaging redesign, legal approval, and market introduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across brand, product, design, legal, sales, retail, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels.
• Develop and maintain business cases covering budget, margin, revenue projections, and post-launch evaluations.
• Monitor revenue contributions, retail sell-through rates, D2C performance, and increases in brand awareness.
• Provide briefings and align brand, social media, e-commerce, and retail teams on launch strategies, content requirements, and sell-in materials.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing, brand partnerships, or co-branding.
• Preferred experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer lifestyle, entertainment, or within a licensing/talent agency.
• At least 3 successful limited editions or co-branded launches from concept to market.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and practical execution.
• Proven experience in negotiating and finalizing LOIs, licensing agreements, and talent contracts with full commercial accountability.
• Established network of intellectual property holders, agencies, talent managers, and entertainment organizations.
• Capacity to manage multiple complex workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Experience managing 6–7 figure budgets and creating business cases from the ground up.
• Native-level proficiency in German and full fluency in English are required.
• Experience with entertainment studios, intellectual property holders, or leading talent agencies is advantageous.
• Background in FMCG, food and beverage, or health-oriented consumer brands is a plus.
• Existing retail relationships in the DACH region and experience with sell-in for limited editions is beneficial.
• Proven track record of managing D2C and retail launches simultaneously is a plus.
• A degree in Marketing, Media & Communications Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though practical experience is valued more than formal qualifications.
