Senior BPM Engineer – Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create and execute BPMN processes and DMN decision tables in Camunda 8 for automating customer support, encompassing both new initiatives and ongoing enhancements.

• Set up and manage logic and prompts within no-code AI platforms, including voice-bot call flow designs, LLM classifiers, and various other AI-powered tools.

• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging existing automation scenarios in Camunda Operate.

• Provide immediate solutions and continuous improvements in live production environments.

• Connect processes with internal and external systems using REST API, JSON, and Kafka message brokers.

• Collaborate effectively across product, technical, and analytics teams.

• Embrace and advocate for new technologies and AI integrations.

• Foster a culture of automation throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience with production BPM engines, including the complete design and deployment of executable BPMN/DMN processes.

• Strong experience with Camunda 7/8 in production settings.

• In-depth knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and FEEL.

• Demonstrated experience in integrations utilizing REST API, JSON, and message brokers (Kafka).

• A strong understanding and interest in contemporary AI/LLM solutions for business process integration.

• Capability to independently collect and clarify technical requirements, working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with automation in customer support or operational business teams.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in defining API and integration requirements.

• Nice-to-have: SQL skills for data validation and process behavior analysis.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with prompt engineering and no-code/low-code AI solutions.
