This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Take responsibility for overall revenue, bookings, and account performance across Thermo Fisher BioProduction business units at designated customer locations.
• Create and implement forecasts through strategic account mapping, territory planning, and data-driven insights.
• Stay informed about the organizational structure, key stakeholders, active projects, and the long-term business outlook.
• Cultivate customer relationships as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor across various product lines.
• Identify and promote new and recurring business opportunities through prospecting and pipeline development.
• Coordinate integrated workflow solutions with Technical Sales Specialists, Field Application Specialists, and Product Management teams.
• Oversee quoting, proposals, and the execution of delivery from opportunity to fulfillment.
• Manage CRM/SFDC to ensure precise forecasting, visibility of the pipeline, and alignment of resources with customer objectives.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific’s BioProduction portfolio, which includes Cell Culture, Production Chemicals, Chromatography, Pharma Analytics, and Single-Use Technologies.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the BioProduction, Life Sciences, Biopharmaceutical market, or large CAPEX equipment is necessary.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets, managing customer relationships, and leading complex, multi-product negotiations.
• Demonstrated achievement in account ownership, forecast management, and expanding account territory.
• Strong comprehension of bioprocessing workflows from development to commercial manufacturing.
• Capability to discuss and support customer requirements across various product lines and engage technical specialists early in the process.
• Established history of analyzing territory sales data, accurate forecasting, and managing the health of the pipeline.
• Exceptional relationship management and account development skills.
• Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC CRM) for managing accounts, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel within the specified territory up to 50% of the time.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
