Senior Big Data Engineer – AdTech Cybersecurity

📋 Description

• Optimize the utilization of Snowflake and enhance the cost efficiency of the infrastructure.

• Identify and rectify inefficiencies present in data pipelines and SQL queries.

• Execute enhancements focused on performance and cost optimization.

• Upgrade and maintain services developed in Java.

• Implement and provide support for new features on the platform.

• Refine current engineering processes and platform components.

• Design scalable and dependable solutions suitable for high-load scenarios.

• Participate in architectural enhancements and the implementation of new components.

• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure stable platform functionality.

• Contribute to a real-time risk assessment platform tailored for digital advertising ecosystems.

• Assist in identifying potentially low-quality or fraudulent traffic, as well as automated advertisement budget decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Big Data engineering.

• Strong practical experience with Snowflake.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Proficient in Java programming.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience in optimizing complex queries.

• Solid foundation in Computer Science principles.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Experience with AWS cloud services is a plus.

• Familiarity with Amazon S3 is advantageous.

• Background in AdTech, cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk assessment domains is a plus.

• Proactive attitude with a mindset focused on ownership.
