Senior BI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources, such as relational and non-relational databases, spreadsheets, internal systems, and APIs.

• Create, implement, and refine analytical data models, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and reliability standards.

• Generate and manage tables, views, and intricate SQL queries, focusing on scalability and adherence to best practices.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.

• Engage extensively with BigQuery (GCP), concentrating on cost optimization and enhancing query performance.

• Leverage dbt for transformations, version control, and ETL development.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to establish metrics, KPIs, and business rules.

• Assist in data governance, information quality, and process standardization efforts.

• Operate within AWS and GCP cloud environments, contributing to architectural decisions and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (completed higher education).

• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and Business Intelligence projects.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, dimensional and analytical data modeling, and BI concepts.

• Proven expertise with BigQuery or other analytical/relational databases.

• Experience utilizing Power BI, including modeling, DAX, and report publishing.

• Practical knowledge of dbt.

• Experience with cloud architectures in AWS and/or GCP.

• Ability to comprehend, document, and convert business rules into analytical solutions.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the capability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
