Senior BD Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a strategic growth plan for the Cell & Gene Therapy CDMO services territory.

• Discover, qualify, and cultivate new business prospects within the biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with scientific, technical, and executive stakeholders.

• Offer consultative advice on Plasmid DNA, AAV, LVV, Process Development, Analytical Development, and GMP Manufacturing.

• Facilitate commercial discussions with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Account Managers, and Operations teams.

• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and assist in contract execution.

• Keep an accurate pipeline and forecast while meeting territory goals.

• Track customer pipelines, funding activities, industry trends, and competitive insights.

• Represent ProBio at conferences and partner events.

• Disseminate market intelligence to Commercial, Marketing, and Leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.

• More than 3 years of Business Development or commercial experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO, or CDMO sectors.

• Strong preference for experience in Cell & Gene Therapy, viral vectors, plasmid DNA, biologics, or advanced therapies.

• Proven track record in consultative technical sales and managing complex opportunities.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
