This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop, implement, and oversee personalized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), preference assessments, and skills assessments.
• Analyze session data and modify programming to ensure measurable progress for clients.
• Maintain a caseload that aligns with salary-level billing expectations.
• Provide direct therapy services as part of billable hours when applicable.
• Supervise Program Managers and master's-level students, offering feedback, training, and clinical guidance.
• Mentor newly certified BCBAs with less than one year of certification, if you have over five years of certification.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, school teams, and other service providers.
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.
• Accurately complete progress reports, session notes, and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain billing records through CentralReach, ensuring that billed and collected hours accurately reflect the services provided.
• Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and CCBS clinical standards.
• Participate in audit readiness and keep documentation prepared for internal or external review.
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB.
• Experience in providing ABA services to children and adolescents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to produce clear, clinician-quality reports and communicate effectively with families.
• Proficient in or willing to learn CentralReach for session data and billing management.
• Dedication to ethical practice, data-driven decision-making, and continuous professional development.
• Preferred experience working within the CCS/Catalight Care Services framework.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred for various service regions.
• Minimum of 5 years of BCBA certification for consideration at Senior, Lead, or Principal levels.
• Interest in pursuing the Assistant Mentor leadership track is preferred.
