📋 Description

• Act as the principal backend expert for a sustainable apparel and retail brand.

• Take complete responsibility for backend architecture, internal tools, and essential third-party integrations.

• Collaborate closely with a small, engaged engineering team.

• Ensure the reliability and performance of e-commerce, retail, and logistics systems.

• Design robust API connections.

• Proactively troubleshoot and maintain platform stability, especially within a Shopify-centric ecosystem during peak traffic times.

• Provide immediate, high-impact contributions across the entire operational pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of solid and demonstrated experience as a software engineer, with a strong emphasis on backend development.

• Strong expertise and experience in Ruby on Rails, or equivalent extensive experience in Python utilizing frameworks such as Flask or Django.

• Practical experience with third-party API integrations and Shopify APIs.

• Strong background with standard databases like MySQL.

• Familiarity with standard frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to maintain and modify internal tools without the need to be a frontend specialist.

• Strong analytical skills and debugging capabilities to proactively address technical issues and collaborate on solutions through shared communication channels.

• Strong technical fundamentals with minimal reliance on Artificial Intelligence tools; AI should be utilized solely to enhance development speed, not as a dependency for operation.
