Senior Backend Engineer – Python/FastAPI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services that drive AI-powered document drafting and analysis workflows

• Create dependable and scalable systems

• Engage in close collaboration with product and data teams

• Participate in projects for rapidly expanding global clients through staff augmentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering

• Proficient in Python

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or a similar framework

• Familiarity with relational and document databases, specifically MySQL and MongoDB

• Knowledge of async/event-driven patterns

• Understanding of AWS microservices architecture, including services such as ECS, RDS, or equivalent managed services

• Experience or knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code

• English proficiency at B2 level

• Experience with gRPC/protobuf is advantageous

• Exposure to data pipelines, cloud data warehouses, or AI/LLM integrations is highly desirable
