Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop microservices using C# and .NET Core 10 for essential business functions.

• Take ownership of data models, which include Postgres schemas, Redis caching, and RabbitMQ messaging.

• Deploy services into production environments.

• Maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and potential failure points.

• Advocate for clean code practices and automated testing methodologies.

• Share technical expertise with team members.

• Utilize coding agents in daily development tasks, overseeing, reviewing, and refining their outputs.

• Collaborate with software architects, product owners, and developers through code reviews, pair programming, and making technical decisions.

• Assist in defining service boundaries, AI-agent workflows, and engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing backend services using C# and .NET.

• Familiarity with microservice architectures.

• Production experience with Postgres, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

• Understanding of architectural principles, performance enhancement, and secure scalability techniques.

• Experience in agile teams utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous, but not mandatory.
