Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with diverse teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product teams, to guarantee effective deliveries that meet both business and user requirements.

• Design and develop secure APIs and integrations, maintaining performance, stability, and consistency of data and processes.

• Conduct monitoring and automated testing to ensure services remain fast, reliable, and accessible.

• Engage in defining the technical roadmap, identifying potential bottlenecks, and suggesting solutions.

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, quality, and agile development.

• Validate concepts and consistently contribute to the enhancement of the product and customer experience.

• Assume responsibility for the ongoing development of solutions and the quality of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python, particularly with Django, Restless, DRF, and FastAPI.

• Knowledge of asynchronous processing, microservices architecture, and scalable APIs.

• Proficient in AWS services, such as S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudFront, and Lambda Functions.

• Experience utilizing the Serverless Framework.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development methodologies, including pull requests, code reviews, branching, and conflict resolution.

• Comprehensive understanding of development processes and agile methodologies.

• Awareness of the application lifecycle and integration with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Advanced knowledge of project architecture, system design, design patterns, and backend development best practices.

• Experience with relational databases, Django ORM, migrations, and query optimization.

• Understanding of unit, integration, and E2E testing using Pytest, unittest, Playwright, and mocking external services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, automated deployments, and monitoring within cloud environments.
