Senior Back-End Developer, Java – Global Insights & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, create, enhance, and maintain both new and existing products and features.

• Implement and assess AI and LLM-driven solutions for business challenges and process enhancements.

• Collaborate with engineers on technical architecture and navigate complex technical issues.

• Adhere to SDLC and documentation best practices.

• Produce high-quality designs, perform unit testing, automate relevant processes, and engage in code reviews.

• Work collaboratively across the organization to evaluate initiatives and suggest solutions.

• Ensure that code adheres to performance, reliability, quality, security, and testability standards for high-traffic and high-availability systems.

• Acquire and apply new technologies to enhance applications.

• Create scalable data visualization solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Java.

• At least 1 year of experience with JavaScript and React.

• More than 3 years of experience with SQL, preferably including PostgreSQL or Redshift.

• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, OOP, and performance optimization.

• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful backend services.

• Experience in writing and maintaining automated unit tests.

• Familiarity with product experimentation, A/B testing, and business metrics/KPIs.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

• Proven ability to develop scalable data visualization solutions.

• Capability to work full-time within Americas time zones for candidates outside of the American continent.
