Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve technical issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery.

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that manages tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems like Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.

• Experience with Java, Spring, Quarkus, Angular, PostgreSQL, RESTEasy, Hibernate/Panache, Kafka, Maven, Flyway, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, ArgoCD, and Grafana.
