Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Diagnose and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist and enhance CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that addresses tax declaration processing, tax computations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate proficiently in English

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
