Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing.

• Diagnose and resolve issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Collaborate actively with team members and project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid grasp of testing principles.

• Capable of communicating effectively in English.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
