Senior Back-End Developer, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create sophisticated technical solutions for the Omie system.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the software’s back-end architecture and contribute to its enhancement by evaluating its components, structure, and functionality.

• Uphold best practices in the development of both manual and automated tests, as well as in software requirements.

• Recognize and evaluate business and architectural solutions through effective communication and knowledge exchange with the development team.

• Engage in tactical and operational discussions and assist in defining the department’s annual objectives related to technical matters, conducting feasibility assessments, and proof-of-concept projects.

• Guide, instruct, and work alongside the development team to identify business, architectural, and design solutions while disseminating knowledge.

• Ensure the development team achieves its short- and medium-term objectives, with the capability to adapt practices, standard procedures, and task prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a related IT field, or Engineering is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP system functionality is preferred.

• Proficient in system development languages such as CoreBuilder, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and C#.

• Knowledgeable in relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of cloud computing platform services including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Experience with source code management tools such as Git and SVN.

• Proven experience in performing unit tests.

• Comprehension of the core principles behind scalable applications.

• Background in development that complies with OWASP guidelines.

• Experience in customer service or customer support roles.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
