Senior Automation QA Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on the backend of a client's CCaaS solution

• Enhance and maintain existing test automation processes

• Detect and resolve defects

• Validate newly introduced features

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compatibility with evolving product features

• Collaborate on significant projects for leading global clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

• Proficient in programming concepts and scripting languages like Python

• Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus

• Experience with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

• Understanding of version control, bug-tracking, and test management tools

• Background in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities

• Basic log analysis skills

• Practical experience with databases like MySQL or equivalents

• Fundamental knowledge of UNIX/Linux

• Familiarity with programming concepts and scripting in Java is advantageous

• Basic understanding of security protocols such as OWASP and PCI Compliance

• Experience with high-volume transactional systems is an added advantage
