Senior Automation QA Engineer – Android team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain automated testing scripts for an Android application utilizing Kotlin.

• Design, develop, and execute automated testing for both new and existing functionalities.

• Work alongside developers, product owners, and manual QA team members to establish test plans and strategies.

• Evaluate test outcomes, pinpoint issues, and collaborate with the development team to rectify defects.

• Constantly enhance the automation framework and incorporate it into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure prompt and precise test coverage for regression and feature testing.

• Contribute to quality best practices and advocate for ongoing improvement in QA processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer.

• Strong expertise in Android test automation utilizing Kotlin or Java.

• Familiarity with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, UIAutomator, or Appium.

• Experience working within Android Studio.

• Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

• Comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

• Experience with test management tools like JIRA or XRAY.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
