Senior Associate/Manager, Finance Technology & EPM – Business Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee or assist in Finance Technology and EPM transformation projects related to budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, financial consolidation, closing, and management reporting.

• Conduct client workshops, evaluate current processes, and convert business needs into functional and solution designs.

• Create EPM capabilities such as planning models, drivers, allocations, scenarios, workflows, consolidation logic, reporting, and data requirements.

• Assist in comprehensive EPM implementations from requirements gathering and design through testing, data migration, deployment, user training, and post-launch support.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and technical teams to merge EPM solutions with ERP and enterprise data systems.

• Provide guidance to clients on Finance/EPM operating frameworks, process enhancements, governance, and technology strategies.

• Oversee project deliverables, risks, dependencies, and client relationships.

• Mentor and develop junior team members while contributing to the growth of practice capabilities.

• Aid in proposals, RFP responses, solution demonstrations, EPM evaluations, and other business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of one or more Finance domains, such as FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation, closing, management reporting, or performance management.

• Experience in delivering Finance Transformation or EPM projects, preferably in consulting, professional services, or a complex enterprise setting.

• Functional or techno-functional expertise with one or more EPM platforms such as CCH Tagetik, OneStream, Oracle FCCS, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning/BPC, or comparable platforms.

• Capability to convert Finance requirements into effective business processes and technology solutions.

• Familiarity with Finance data, ERP/EPM integration, testing, and implementation methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in engaging with both senior Finance stakeholders and technology teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders and conduct presentations and workshops.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Senior Associate: Generally 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, EPM, or Finance Technology.

• Senior Associate: Experience in supporting comprehensive EPM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, data migration, and deployment.

• Senior Associate: Ability to work closely with Finance and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into practical EPM solutions.

• Manager: Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, EPM, or Finance Technology, including the experience of leading workstreams or projects.

• Manager: Proven track record of leading functional solution design, managing delivery teams, and overseeing project deliverables, risks, and dependencies.

• Manager: Experience in engaging and advising senior client stakeholders.
