Senior Associate, Technical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and manage automated operational workflows utilizing orchestration platforms and custom scripts.

• Establish test cases, confirm release readiness, oversee regression risks, and either refactor or eliminate legacy workflows.

• Analyze raw logs and database tables employing advanced SQL and Python techniques.

• Recognize failure patterns, isolate edge cases, and implement root-cause solutions for failed transactions.

• Utilize contemporary LLM tools for structured data parsing, regex creation, error-log classification, and operational inquiries.

• Collaborate with senior engineering and operational stakeholders to convert process requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Question existing processes using data-driven technical reasoning.

• Serve as a proactive workflow builder and quality steward within the Operations ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3+ years of pertinent technical experience in Technical Operations, Systems Analysis, Data QA, Software QA, or Workflow Automation.

• Direct accountability for constructing, troubleshooting, and sustaining data-driven processes.

• Capability to write efficient SQL beyond elementary queries, including Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and query optimization techniques.

• Basic understanding of Python or scripting for data manipulation.

• Hands-on experience with workflow engines, API integrations, or orchestration platforms such as n8n, Workato, Make, or Retool.

• Comprehension of edge-case management, monitoring, rollback strategies, and system interdependencies.

• Proficient in utilizing LLM tools for structured data parsing, regex generation, error-log classification, and operational inquiries.

• Ability to engage with software engineers regarding architecture and convey operational impacts to business stakeholders.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Permanent residency in Canada.
