Senior Associate, Procurement Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the daily configuration for procurement as well as travel and expense platforms, which includes approval routing, policies, fields, rules, templates, and user permissions.

• Create and develop new procurement workflows and configurations that align with changing business needs.

• Ensure a scalable configuration architecture is maintained and set standards for system modifications.

• Oversee system improvements, testing, releases, and production deployments.

• Collaborate with procurement platform partners regarding product enhancements, issues, and roadmap opportunities.

• Keep precise system documentation, configuration records, and process maps up to date.

• Design and uphold system-based controls that enforce procurement policies, approval requirements, delegation of authority, and spending thresholds.

• Set up automated routing and approval mechanisms.

• Detect control gaps, process risks, and opportunities for automation.

• Work alongside Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, Security, and Compliance to meet organizational control requirements.

• Develop change-control and governance procedures.

• Evaluate configuration effectiveness and suggest enhancements based on audit results, policy updates, and operational data.

• Manage competing requests and prioritize enhancements considering business value, risk, compliance, and user impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or a related field.

• Familiarity with procurement tools such as Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert business requirements into scalable processes.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Experience in supporting system implementations or transformations is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of travel and expense (T&E) platforms (e.g., Navan) and procurement catalogs is an advantage.
