Senior Associate, Finance Shared Services – Time and Labor Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the application, compliance, and posting/reconciliation of time and labor for assigned divisions, including international teams.

• Examine and record labor in financial ERPs and payroll systems in line with company and regulatory standards.

• Supervise and review payroll entries, pinpoint and address root causes, and monitor issues until resolution.

• Detect compliance issues within the timecard system and develop requirements, test cases, testing, communication strategies, and implementation plans.

• Address inquiries from employees, internal departments, and external partners.

• Engage in special projects.

• Conduct research and gather documentation for audits, ensuring SOX controls are properly implemented.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation outcomes.

• Assess timecard data for compliance with policies and legal standards, as well as for inquiries, trends, and root-cause analysis.

• Suggest and execute process enhancements while standardizing procedures.

• Utilize digital tools and AI technologies to automate time and labor processes, enhance reporting, and deliver actionable insights.

• Act as a liaison between payroll, HR/benefits, and accounting teams to resolve timecard-related issues.

• Document and uphold processes and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Graduate degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of related experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Preferred experience in time and labor, compliance, human resources, finance, or payroll.

• Capacity to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

• Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Hands-on experience in root cause analysis, analytical thinking, independent judgment, initiative, multitasking, customer service, organization, adaptability, and teamwork.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
