Senior Associate, FCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of exception management for cash, positions, trades, and margin, encompassing triage, investigation, resolution, and the implementation of sustainable solutions.

• Spearhead operational readiness for the launch of new products, which includes designing UAT/test cases, creating playbooks, developing cutover plans, and ensuring stability post-launch.

• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, and Engineering teams to develop scalable processes, controls, and reporting that comply with regulatory standards.

• Create and manage monitoring and exception reporting frameworks (SLAs, KPIs, dashboards) while overseeing incident triage with clearly defined escalation pathways.

• Lead root cause analyses and post-mortems, converting insights into enhancements for products and processes.

• Identify and apply automation tools and techniques to minimize operational friction and reduce manual workloads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in financial services or fintech operations, particularly with FCM, broker-dealer, or listed derivatives, focusing on trade operations, margin, or exception management.

• Proven analytical problem-solving skills in exception-based operations, demonstrating strong judgment in prioritization and escalation.

• Experience in product launches and operational readiness, including gathering requirements, executing UAT, developing playbooks, and providing go-live support.

• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams in dynamic environments.

• Familiarity with the characteristics of listed derivatives and a keen interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency markets.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outcomes and enhance workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
