Senior Associate, Collections Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee escalated accounts receivable concerns

• Facilitate the resolution of high-risk balances and assist in converting AR to cash for premium accounts

• Act as the main point of contact for second-tier escalations related to high-risk, aged, or disputed receivables

• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Customer Service teams to address payment delays, disputes, and lack of responsiveness

• Implement targeted outreach and follow up on overdue accounts, including final demand letters and pre-collections actions

• Conduct advanced skip-trace research to find and engage customers with unreachable or outdated contact details

• Track aging reports and monitor the outcomes of escalations

• Offer insights aimed at enhancing collections performance and minimizing bad debt

• Detect trends and suggest process improvements to enhance escalation management and recovery rates

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate collections, accounts receivable, or escalation management, preferably within a large enterprise environment

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, accounting, finance) or equivalent work experience

• Proficient in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and handling large datasets

• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce

• Experience in complex account reconciliation

• Skills in skip tracing and investigative research

• Strong executive-level communication abilities

• Experience providing customer service in high-pressure situations

• Demonstrated ability to manage 2nd tier escalation requests and mitigate past due risks

• Experience interacting with high-level executives and customers

• High attention to detail and prompt follow-up skills

• Capability to manage complex collections activities while maintaining a high level of customer service

• Working hours: 10-7p CT/8-5p PT
