This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in managing financial aspects of projects related to technology and data initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to create budgets, project cost forecasts, conduct variance analyses, and assess project performance.
• Create and sustain project budgets and forecasts.
• Track commitments, expenditures, and overall project spending.
• Verify the accuracy of contractor and vendor invoices.
• Lead monthly cost review sessions and conduct variance analyses.
• Assist with capital funding requests and financial approvals.
• Process accruals, reclassifications, and necessary financial adjustments.
• Create and manage project schedules using authorized scheduling tools.
• Evaluate schedule performance, milestones, critical paths, and associated risks.
• Confirm contractor schedules and detect possible delays.
• Aid in recovery planning for schedules when necessary.
• Maintain project risk registers effectively.
• Analyze the cost and schedule implications of project modifications.
• Ensure that approved changes are accurately represented in forecasts and reports.
• Generate project control reports encompassing cost, schedule, risks, and overall performance.
• Offer actionable insights and recommendations to project leadership.
• Ensure adherence to corporate project governance standards.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and reporting among project teams.
• Master’s degree; OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance; OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance; OR high school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, or project finance.
• Proficient in Anaplan, Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing settings.
• Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in influencing and managing stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with proactive risk identification skills.
